- First full-time job!
- Developing a repair method for carbon fiber tube epoxy bonds that is still used today
- Jerry-rigging a thermal chamber out of some liquid nitrogen gas and a hair dryer
- Managing a few test technicians for the first time

- That you can design stuff — and it still matters! — even if you aren’t a design engineer
- What the heck an airship is
